About Zodicast — Who Writes These Horoscopes

Zodicast publishes reference-style astrology content rather than one-off predictions. Every zodiac sign has a personality profile, a full 2027 forecast broken down by month and by life area, a daily reading and a weekly outlook. Alongside that sit the Chinese zodiac, sign-by-sign compatibility for all 78 pairings, life path numerology, and guides to the year’s eclipses and retrogrades.

Everything is free to read, without an account, a subscription or a teaser paragraph that stops at the interesting part.

Who writes these horoscopes, and how

Zodicast is not a single astrologer’s column, and it does not pretend to be. It is published by a small team as a reference library, and it is built in two clearly separated layers.

The astronomical layer is calculated, never recalled. Sign boundaries, moon phases, eclipse dates, retrograde periods and every planetary position come from an ephemeris (the open-source astronomy-engine library), computed when the site is built. The weekly horoscopes, the daily sky notes and the year calendars are generated directly from those figures, which is why they carry the date they were computed for.

The interpretive layer — what a transit is conventionally said to mean for a given sign — is written editorially, working from those computed positions rather than from memory. It follows established astrological convention, and it describes what that tradition claims rather than asserting a measured effect on individual people.

How we check the facts

Astrology writing is full of wrong dates, and they survive for years because nobody checks them. Every date and every planetary placement on this site is verified automatically against the same ephemeris before it is published: one check compares stated dates with computed stations and ingresses, another compares every "planet in sign" claim with where that planet actually was.

That process is not decorative. When we first ran it in August 2026 it found a systematic one-day error on every retrograde start date across 158 pages, wrong ingress dates on fourteen more, and several planets described in signs they never occupied that year. All of it was corrected before this page was written, and both checks now run on every deploy.

If you find a date or a placement that looks wrong, please tell us — that is exactly the kind of report we want, and it is the fastest way for a reader to improve the site.

What this is not

Astrology is not a science, and nothing on Zodicast is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. A horoscope is a prompt for reflection, not a diagnosis and not a forecast of events. If you are facing a decision with real consequences for your health, money or safety, talk to a qualified professional.

Language

Zodicast is currently published in English only. Translations into Spanish, Bengali, Hindi and Portuguese are prepared but not yet released — we would rather ship one language that reads well than five that read like translations. When another language is ready it will appear in a switcher in the header.
